Editorials
Ethos welcomes editorials from friends and readers.
Editorials are from 700 to 1500 words, and should be written in an accessible voice for the intelligent layperson.
If we have not met before, and you would like to write an editorial, please email me with a brief abstract of your topic, and a one page resume.
Your resume should address your credentials and qualifications for writing an editorial. This is not meant to be officious, but a way of vetting the crackpots! I do not provide editorial advice for rejected proposals.
If we have met, simply contact me about the subject matter you would like to address.
Please submit your editorial as a text file structured into block paragraphs. Label your file in the following manner.
Last Name, File Name.txt
For example — Lynn, Environmental Justice.txt
Mac users, please remember to included the suffex (i.e., .txt) in your file name.
If you have an image you would like to include with your post, please send it to me as a high quality .jpg or .png file. I’ll resize it and post it with the editorial.
Please recall that this is an academic blog, and the principles of fair use and copyright apply. If you suspect you will need permissions to post something, you are responsible for obtaining this permission in writing, and including that with your post and/or image.
Cheers, Bill
